Folks... Thought you might be interested in this invitation from the local ICCA (Independent Computer Consultant's Association) Chapter... what follows is an email from the Chapter President, Paul Keister. The Chapter website is at www.icca-sfba.org and the ICCA national site is at www.icca.org. Holler with any questions.
=====
This is a reminder of the upcoming October 9th, 2008 In-Person Group Mentoring Program offered as a free community service by the San Francisco Bay Area chapter of the Independent Computer Consultants Association (ICCA). The in-person mentoring program is intended for new and prospective consultants, however, the session is also useful for experienced consultants with specific questions about improving their business practices.

The in-person mentoring program is open to anyone at no charge. It is available from 5:15 - 6:15 PM before the monthly chapter meetings at the same location. The address for both meeting and mentoring is Café de la Paz 1600 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley CA (510) 843 – 0662. To ensure availability of an experienced mentor, please email your request to Peete.Baer@dmvgateway.com the Friday prior to the meeting (although we can typically manage with less notice). You'll receive an email response confirming the availability of the mentor.

While we do not require you to cite any specific areas of concern when applying for the mentoring session, the mentor can provide more appropriate assistance when you include this information and other questions with your email request.

Please feel free to forward this email to consultants who may be interested, and/or reply to Peete if you would like to take advantage of this program.

Sincerely,

Paul Keister
